Accommodation
Accommodation & Meals
What is provided
Accommodation, meals and a university workspace are provided by the host for the full duration of the program, at no cost to participants. You do not pay for a room, you do not pay for food, and you do not pay for your workspace.
University workspace
Participants are hosted at universities in Istanbul as their working space during the program. You build your team project on a real campus — a proper environment for focused, collaborative work.
Travel is covered
Accepted participants travelling from outside Türkiye receive a full travel scholarship: IISLP arranges and covers your flights to and from Istanbul. Where you live in the world is not meant to decide whether you can take part.
Accepted participants based in Türkiye can apply for travel support where they need it.
Travel arrangements are confirmed with you in writing before anything is booked.
Visa support
If your nationality requires a visa, our team can provide the documents an embassy usually asks for - program confirmation, accommodation details, and similar paperwork.
This help is entirely optional. If you would rather handle the application on your own, that is completely fine. Visa decisions are made by the relevant authorities, not by the program.
Where you stay
Participants stay together in a hotel in Istanbul, so the group is in one place for the full two weeks. We are working towards the DoubleTree by Hilton Istanbul - Piyalepasa. The final venue and room arrangements are confirmed to accepted participants before travel.
Meals
Meals are provided by the host throughout the program.
Before you arrive
Check-in and check-out details, transport information, house rules, and emergency contacts are shared with accepted participants ahead of travel.
